TRUE STORY.
Many of my friends are on the swimming team at my highschool, and on Thursday they had a home meet, so Nicole, Chrissy Ripp and I decided to go watch them and cheer. While we we standing around talking, Anna suddenly turns to me and asks if I've ever seen The Princess Bride.
"HECK YES I HAVE." I reply, and then go off on a tangent about it for a while because I'm awesome like that.
"QUICK," Anna interrupts, "tell me what R.O.U.S stands for."
"R.O.U.S? It stands for Rodents of Unusual Size. Why?"
And then Anna and Kelsey started laughing hysterically, leaving me going bzuh?! at them until they explained that they had this survey thing on swim team, and one of the questions is who is the fugliest (fucking ugliest, for those of you not in the know). And the famous ALLISON SMITH~♥ had put down R.O.U.S as her answer, but lo! no one had understood, and though they tried to make her explain the only answer that she would offer was: "It's from The Princess Bride." And I think she put a name down too, but the reason was R.O.U.S which caused all the confusion.
So, naturally, they asked me. Eventually, this led to me getting squished by ALLISON SMITH~♥ after she got out of the pool, but despite getting sopping wet it was TOTALLY WORTH IT because, um, HELLO ALLISON SMITH.*
It's a good thing i only use my literary powers for good.
*I am the vice-president of the Allison Smith fanclub. We have a song.
