When at work, if the cooks are taking forever to make the food for your tables, are fucking up every single thing and the manager refuses to fix any and all fuck-ups that have been made, you can always throw a temper tantrum and bang on things while jumping up and down and yelling. You'll usually get what you want that way AND look extremely mature.
Anyway, so Saturday night, Jessica, Patrick, Des, Jason Green and I went to Brad's comic book release party in this small building two doors down from the acoustic coffeehouse. The Impersonators and The Invisibles played but we got off work too late so we missed the Impersonators. But anyway, we saw the invisibles. They are pretty crappy unless you've had a couple beers or it's Halloween. Luckily, I'd had a few beers so I loved them. It was $5 cover all you can drink beer. Des hates beer so she gave her cup to Patrick who is 20. He proceeded to drink like 8 beers in fifteen minutes and we found him lying outside with his face in some rocks drooling with Jessica standing over him looking confused. It went really well. Once we carried him to Jessica's car and got him to Mid-City Grill, he was okay. I don't know about everyone else, but I actually had a pretty good time.
We still have no car. And we desperately desperately need to do our laundry tonight. DESPERATELY. If nothing else, we need to at least wash our work shirts or we can't work tomorrow. They're filthy.
Oh and Patrick, I started downloading some Haircut100 for you so I can make you a CD of their stuff like you asked me too. I've only been able to get three songs so far so the CD might take awhile and I have to say, this is by far the worst music I have ever heard, and I've heard a lot of bad music. It's not even a good bad. It's a bad bad. It sounds like Morrissey meets that song "Rock the Casbah". As Des put it, "holy yuck."
