Things just keep on getting better

We still don't have the car. Turns out my dad has been telling the mechanic to take an extra long time on the car to punish us because somehow he thinks it's our fault that the car went completely out of control and we almost died. The mechanic listened to him because he thought the car was in my dad's name, which it's not, but now he knows the truth. My dad also told me not to give the mechanic money until we found out how much Joe (the mechanic) could get for Des's car. Meanwhile, he was telling the mechanic that I was going to bring him money (my dad has also been helping and giving him some money). This explains why the mechanic has been so pissed. But now he knows what's going on and now we have to hurry and try to save up money for all our bills AND to pay him to get the fucking car back.

Monday, the dog woke me up by puking on the bed. Then later that night, I washed one of the handsets of our house phone in the washing machine at the laundromat. I still have no idea how it got in there.

Des has started school. Let me tell you how fun it is finding rides for her to get to school AND for both of us to get to work. Des just had her second car accident of the week. Earlier in the week, she and Patrick got hit in Patrick's car pulling out of a four-way stop by some maniac who didn't know where he was going. Just now, she and Crystal got his in Crystal's car pulling out of the road we live on at the stop sign. Might I point out that this is the same place that Des and I got hit in our car months and months ago. This is a very dangerous road. I'm beginning to think that no one is going to want to take us anywhere anymore. Not that they want to now anyway, after two months of us not having a car.

At least no one got hurt, knock on wood.

I'm going back to sleep.
