i am still boring regardless of what jymmi says
des and i worked tonight and made pretty decent money. well, i made decent money. des made amazing money. she left with $90. i left with $43. anyway, i think we're going to be able to make our bills this month. well, i hope so. i know we've got enough money for the electric bill and i'm pretty sure we have it for my car insurance payment and almost for the cable bill. we still have to make rent money and the money to pay jamey back (because we're late in paying her), AND the $200 pet deposit. i need to start picking up more shifts. i feel like we're just barely keeping our heads above water but what we really need to do is actually make progress, buy furniture, and have money to save and put away. well, all hope is not lost yet because we're still trying to get back on our feet and pay back all the bills we got behind on when tony roma's closed down.
anyway, i really like working at the olive garden, even though i called jimmy an asshole today because he deserved it. still, the olive garden is a great place to work. it's a pleasant environment, money is good, etc.
anyway, we had this bag of weed lying out in the apartment that we forgot to put back on the shelf because we were high. last night, the dog ate it. we found her this afternoon sleeping with the empty back and some little pieces of weed lying around her. luckily, she was okay, but she was acting a little funny.
anyway, we are off tomorrow, which is good because the president of the company comes tomorrow and i don't want to deal with how picky they're going to be about everything we do.
i really need to either by another work shirt or wash mine again before i work next because i always always spill shit all over me.
des spilled boiling water from her cup of ramen all over her hand on our way to work this afternoon. it's still all red and horrible.
in other news, i finished reading "white oleander" by janet fitch. it was great. the ending pissed me off, but the book was still really good. i'm now reading "drawing blood" by poppy z. brite. des says it's good. so far, i like it.
