final table of the LHE shootout
It's a really great feeling to wake up in the morning to the thought of "oh, I'm playing a WSOP final table today!" It's a feeling I've gotten to experience twice already this WSOP and four times overall. I am hoping tomorrow I wake up with a completely new feeling: "oh, I just won a bracelet!"
I don't expect it to be an easy final table at all. Shootouts weed out nearly all of the weak players and even though I only know one of my opponents as a high-limit LHE regular, they're likely all fairly tough if they've come this far. Sometimes in a regular tournament, someone luckboxes his way this far, but everyone at a triple shootout final table has beaten opponents shorthanded with deep stacks -- twice. So I'll have to play well and hope hands keep coming my way.
