that's a wrap!
We finished shooting today, after just a couple of hours. I'm pretty damn impressed with the production team to get us this ahead of schedule. They promised us long days and in fact we had a number of short ones. We might have to go back Thursday to do some last touch-ups, but probably nothing serious. Now it's just on the editing team to put it all together, and we'll have a product. Hopefully it's one we can be proud of.
In other news, the heat wave continues unabated in this city. Vancouver beat its record high on Wednesday and then broke that record again on Thursday. Local stores are sold out of fans and AC units. It's pretty ridiculous. I've decided that if it's going to be a million degrees outside, I'm going to go somewhere where they're equipped to deal with it being a million degrees. Yep, I'm going back to Vegas!
BARGE 2009 will officially have wrapped up by the time I get to Vegas (just after midnight on Sunday), but hopefully many BARGE friends will still be in town. I haven't attended BARGE since 2006, so it'll be nice to see the people I don't normally get to see on the tournament circuit.
