OK, I consider myself a fairly savvy web user, but I can't find anywhere on the stupid PS site where it says how you actually finished. But at any rate, congrats! Good thing Bill talked you into entering, eh? :-) (I did find a single article about Eastgate winning that said he pretty much entered on a whim too because it looked like it was going to be a mediocre weather day)

wow, big field. congrats on the ft even if it didn't go as well as you'd hoped.

Was very surprised at the field size (273). I was predicting something like 150, mostly strong pros. I mean, in these trying economic times, who else is going to be putting up $5000 cash?

But unless I had a very atypical table draw, it wasn't a particularly tough field. I think my table draw in the $5000 NL at the WSOP was tougher.
