Xia and I ran out to do escort - both of us hurting on dynamis buffer - and naturally the inevitable bloody adventure began!
We do make a cunning pair tho:
Xia's hitting smn hardcore to get it up to level with my bst, we're hoping to do some insane pet duoing then. This was our first escort run when he didn't have to sub whm, so he ended up changing to drg so Wirbelwind could have some quality Crawler's Nest time. We've duoed as drg-bst before and it works quite well, the hate line is tenuous but with enough -enmity it works great!
After a successful escort, we wandered a bit (I got a snack), and I headed off to Labyrinth of Onzozo to skill up my trial axe, build a buffer, and hope for Ose. Xia joined me as paladin shortly after, and as we were walking to the Torama camp, lo and behold, Ose was on widescan.
Get there and a party of RMT are fighting him ... more correctly, a party of RMT were wiping to him.
At this point I need to remind myself to take more screenshots, but, well, we waited for them to wipe, spammed flash/charm, and had a fun time duoing him for the last 10% (HA!) and here's the result:
We both freaked out, we've killed him a good half dozen times before and never seen a drop. We both lotted, and I won - Xia probably has more use for it, so we're gonna get him one too, but this should be fun on thief and great for dynamis:
We skilled on a few torama, and then, naturally, decided to take on a Wyvern down there and this adventure officially became bloody (the best kind!):
I gotta say, neither of us were expecting Dispelling Wind ... so no RR ... I ran off to charm another Torama and despite gobs not facing me, they all turned and aggroed when I charmed ... figure that one out. Anyway, giant train, massive death, usual day in the life of the two of us. Bad side was I delevelled, and Xia lost some buffer, so we went to great lengths to get an R3, lol.
It was good tho - Darah and Juicycat came to the rescue, some old friends we hadn't hooked up with in a while, so the usual catching up/jokes occurred after we were expertly saved:
And some ridiculousness after beating the crap out of the shadow dragon in Xarca (cuz really, where else you gonna tele?)
And my unending quest for thf buffer tonight before dynamis-windhurst, and then maybe I'll finally get back to exp on bst, lol.
