I...feel...hap-py!

Chapter thirteen of ‘Blind Sight’ has now been uploaded... chapter thirteen? How the hell did this story get so long!? And it’s not even a short chapter, but another one of those silly chapters that got longer than I planned. *sigh* Anywho, along with the chapter, I uploaded a lovely picture Ruth send me of SxS from ‘Blind Sight’. Nice timing, neh? I’m planning to work on ‘Irresistible Hunger’ next to finish the story, and then it’ll be time to finally finish ‘Blind Sight’ (despite Miss Dincht’s complaints that it shouldn’t end). Phew, it’s been a long time since I’ve actually finished a story. I’m kind of excited.

November has been a good month for me. I started off by donating to what I think is a great cause - ‘Child’s Play’. I think it’s wonderful that these gamers aren’t just complaining about idiot reporters blaming everything on video games, but they’ve decided to prove those people wrong and show how wonderful gamers can be.

I also donated blood for the first time in three years, so that felt really good. Though I nearly passed out doing aerobics a couple days later. Note to self : no aerobics so soon after losing a bunch of blood.

While I hated the result, it was great to vote earlier in the month. I think I had more fun debating with colleagues at work, though. Lordy, I work with too many Bush supporters, though that isn’t too surprising in a pharmaceutical company located in Colorado. Ugh, Bush for four more years when he doesn’t need to worry about reelection and he has the potential to nominate up to three Supreme Court justices. I just a touch worried.

This week is Thanksgiving and I’m working on both days for a lovely triple pay. Just perfect for the money I’ll need for holiday shopping! I’m not too bothered about missing Thanksgiving since I don’t exactly care for eating to excess, and I’ve already got my tickets to visit the parents mid-December since I’m working Christmas Eve as well. I’ve got Christmas off, though, so I’ll be spending that with my sister and her family. I’m really excited for that.

How all of this will affect my writing, I haven’t a clue, but my current goal is to finish both stories before the end of the year... it won’t happen, but it’s nice to dream. ^^
