Seriously, I think 2011 hates me...

Sorry, sorry, still no chapter 7 for OWS. My email to Aera went into a black hole, so she didn't realize that there was a chapter to edit. She's on it now, but that means no chapter at this moment. I'm trying to work on ch8 in the meantime, but man, it's been hard to focus lately.

However, I do have a birthday present from the_god_of_sun to share with you--Read more... )

It's totally my fault--I should've checked with Aera sooner. My emails have a bad habit of being eaten by spam filters. But isn't that a lovely picture by Ruth to enjoy in the meantime? Get a close-up of his eyes--I think it's the best part of the entire pic... Well, maybe after that bike. ;)

Ugh, at least I don't have humidity like you do, but I'm definitely getting tired of the weather hovering around 95F. It's too hot to go out in the summer, and it'll be too cold during the winter--where's the happy medium?? But yeah, I was able to steal from my savings account for the A/C. It got to 87F in my house, and I started worrying about my cat and electronics. I also have a park behind my house and my room on the first floor, so leaving the windows open at night wasn't really an option. It was a long week.

That's kind of the trend with my friend--he sometimes does things that make us worry and he won't understand why. In this case, though, he completely understood and has apologized for doing something so stupid.

*sigh* What I'm really hoping for with my father is that he has a near-miss where he's just fine. The only way he'll get over something is if he gets a taste of what can go wrong. The really sad thing is that he won't be satisfied by this. What my dad doesn't have is friends, and nothing can replace that. Meanwhile, my mom goes bowling three times a week and everyone loves her. I think that is what prompted this flying desire. ^^;

Hahaha, they would totally rip me a new one for an over decorated cube. And if not them, the cleaning ladies go a little nuts when cleaning and they knock things everywhere. But yeah, I was dumbfounded by the hoodie ban when they have never officially declared that we shouldn't wear them. And what counts as a hoodie? Anything with a hood, or just sweatshirts (zip and non-zip) with hoods? I have a shrug like thing with a hood that I have worn before, but now I'm afraid to wear it simply because we shouldn't wear shirts where our shoulders show, either, and I wear tanks with it. This has gotten ridiculous.
