What are weekends again?
So, good and bad news. Well, more good news for me and bad news for anyone waiting to read an update. I have been approved to take the CPA exams and I have already signed up for two of them within the next two months. This means I'm going to have both my prep-courses and studying for an actual exam, as well as work and Avs hockey games. I'm not quite certain how everything is going to fit schedule-wise, but I already know that I'm going to be bringing flashcards to the hockey games.
In addition to all of that, I'm moving to a 4days/10hrs schedule at work starting November. I'm hoping that the extra day on the weekends will give me time for both studying and writing since I'm usually too exhausted after work to do anything productive. The problem is that Wednesdays quite possibly could kill me, aka 7am-5:30pm work and 6pm-10pm prep-course... But hey, I think it's only a total of ten Wednesdays that will have that schedule. And I have to believe that, somehow, this is going to lead me to something so much better. ^^;
In the meantime, I have started the hockey fic and I'll try to finish up something to post by next month. I'll probably need to write for my sanity! However, if you don't see anything, you now know why I'm MIA.
On a completely different note, I got the new Linkin Park album, and while I have mixed feelings about the release, it's definitely something I find easy to listen to and it may be my 'soundtrack' for studying. More so, I'm completely addicted to 'Waiting for the End'. It reminds me intensely of GR:NP with the song portions being Squall to the letter and the rap-ish portions having the feeling of Seifer's frustrations. It almost makes me want to write another one-shot for between GR and GR:NP. Almost, and then I remember that I don't have time for it. =P
Anywho, time to do some homework, make some flashcards, and then maybe touch some writing. And crap, when did it become 4:40pm?
*happy grin* While writing this, I got a Saturday surprise of Gnome giving me a call. Man, I'm so freaking excited for Yaoi Con and being able to see everyone again. It's definitely a bright spot in the next several months.
