Preemptive excuses

There's no way I'm going to get a chapter done in the next week (which would be a month after the last posting), so I thought I'd get to my excuses early. I'm a little more than halfway through the next OWS chapter, but it's slow going with homework getting in the way. *sigh* Can I tell you how much I wish school was done with? It's Intermediate ( Read more... )

Hmm where to start...Congrats on the work side of things. Definitely do not be telling them you have more time than expected on your hands. You need that free time for yourself and they can go jump if they think you are going to be doing stuff all the time for them. They're lucky to have you *nods* Now you have to resist the urge to take on the hours of your coworkers when they have to be elsewhere. They can ask others dammit. Did you get it in writing that it's be only 15 or so hours? Yeah, I trust no one in a position to say how long and when you work >.>

School and food side of things I have no suggestions but offer lots of hugs and hope you don't have to resort to drugs...for either ;) I will send what energies I can your way but I'm not sure they'll help. I sucked at accounting so bad.

As for writing I hear you on that. Muses just can't compete with rl issues. They will come back soon though. Go do something relaxing and forget about everything for a while. Keep a notebook handy though as they'll jump you when you least expect it <33

Oh there's a good chance I'm gonna be absent or quiet for a while. Don't panic as everything is fine. I just don't want to spam everyone too much with the usual sewing posts. I need to concentrate on getting it done instead.

*laugh* It's not in writing about my hours, but Tanya (my manager) seemed truly worried about losing me, so I imagine that she'll be checking with me to make certain I'm happy. ;) I'm hoping the extra ten hours a week will help to relieve a lot of the overall tension. Heck, this week I actually got in exercising on three days and it's amazing how that little bit makes me feel better about myself in general. With all of this chaos in the last month, I'm trying to figure out how I've lost a few pounds. ^^;

Alas, I don't think there's a choice with no drugs for my cholesterol. It's a genetic thing, not just about the food I eat. My mom thinks it's something about our bodies not being able to break down fat like it should.

Oh, I'm trying to write whenever I can. I've somehow managed to sneak in about 3,000 words in the last couple weeks, but it's killing me because I want to write more. =P OWS is one of those stories that I keep thinking about, and at this rate, the thing is probably going to grow to six to eight chapters. It's more of a character story than plot-heavy, so it's a nice change.

Heh, good luck trying to stay away. ;) But that's fine - it's rather normal for you to start disappearing around this time of year. I'm certain we'll be hearing plenty when it's even closer to con time. BTW, I got Teri's chat from Jamie and I actually talked with her a week or so ago - man, I always forget how wonderful she is. She had better show up this year. ;)
