My monthly check-in
So, I got a whole two weeks off from school after my last finals, and sadly, that is ending starting tomorrow night. *pouts* I got quite a bit of writing done while it lasted, but I also went home to visit my parents for almost a week. Yes, gay smut was written with my mother sitting across the couch (she knows about my writing) and my father in the room (he has no clue and it better stay that way).
Anywho, the final chapter of GR:NP is mostly done and I'm hoping to have it off to the betas by the end of the week. For those wondering, yes, there is going to be a ficlet after this chapter for the Zack x Cloud folks who have been nagging encouraging me. After that, I'm going to work on the next chapter of OWS, and then, gasp, I'll go back to those requests I never finished. I swear, they are on my mind, but school and work have made things difficult.
On a side note, I'm so happy that my mother accepts my insanity. Before I went to Reno, I mentioned to her that I've been wanting a Cerberus plushie for years, but they don't make them. When I added that I was thinking about trying to make my own from a few normal dog plushies, she proudly announced, "Off with their heads!" She did this with a few beanie babies and it turned out better than I hoped for, especially with a first try. She gave him the names Winkin', Blinkin', and Nod from the nursery rhyme. ;)
Alright, back to writing for me. I promise to have something soon-ish! ...Is that non-specific enough? *grins*
