*sigh* Tired of my excuses yet?
So yeah, no update this month either. It's the same old excuses of work and school, and those excuses are going to continue for a while. The good news - I still have a 4.0 GPA after six classes and much stress. The bad news - I haven't had a school break since Christmas (for two very short weeks) and I'm not going to have another one until July. In other words, my brain feels like it is dissolving a bit. =P In addition to that, we have another person gone from my store for a couple of months (maternity leave), we have only hired one person to replace the three or four lost since January, and people are doing the summer vacation thing already. To sum that up, I'm apparently going back to a +30hr/wk schedule when I have +20hr/wk of school and homework.
That said, if I had been a responsible writer, I would have had something done this week. As it is, I have half of the GR:NP chapter and about a third of the OWS chapter done. I really want to finish GR:NP sooner than later, but my muses keep pushing me toward OWS... and I'm weak. ^^; Anywho, I'll do my best to have something done soonish. I'm hoping that I'll have a burst of inspiration for GR:NP, but I may end up finishing that OWS chapter first if things continue like this.
And no worries - I know a lot of you completely understand the real life thing, but I also know that when more than a month goes by without a real update, people start worrying. ;) Trust me, the idea of retiring from fanfiction is the last thing on my mind. Instead, SxS are my saviors from insanity induced by accelerated classes and stupid people at work.
Alrightie, back to homework for me. The sooner I get it done, the sooner I can work on fun stuff.... in theory.
