No update, sadly, but I swear that I'm working on it. I haven't been very motivated lately and I've foolishly decided to attempt submitting something to Yaoi-con yet again. Unfortunately, every freaking idea I come up with would go far longer than 10,000 words. Why is it so hard to write short stories compared to the monster fics I keep falling ( Read more... )

Alas, good music is hard to find. It seems like these things come in waves, that groups try something new and wonderful, and when one of them finally makes it big with that new something, everyone else copies it and ruins its uniqueness. Well, I guess I'll just have to be patient and listen to the old favorites in the meantime.

Yes, I'm not alone! I'm so tired of the girlie ukes who cry over a dropped school bag. Really, if you want to do a het story with a boy and a girl, do it. Don't force it into the yaoi world by making the 'girl' boobless. =P

That's one reason I like Naono Bohra. While, yes, some of the character blush a bit too much, she at least creates different characters with every short story she does. I especially love how she isn't limited to the cliches. I think she was the first author I read who had characters missing an arm or leg, some zombie-lovin', and a bias for older men with a younger counterpart. Granted, she does succomb to the generic story ideas that everyone loves, but she does it in such a way that I can enjoy it without grumbling that I've already read fifty other stories like it. *sigh* I haven't a clue how many authors I've read to find her. =P
