And I manage to get an update done before that two month mark. Yay! for me. So first, the update - 'For Nothing, For Everything' chapter eight. Just in case I haven't mentioned it yet, this is probably going to become a very long fic, at least matching the length of 'Blind Sight'. New ficage! I come up for air between work and my own writing and what do I find? New ficage. This was great and the snowball ball fight was too cute. I also loved the pic that Ruth did. So, we can expect a new chapter when? How 'bout now? If I ask in 10 minutes will it be ready then? 20 minutes? Now?

*laugh* Not too greedy, are you? Eh, I never know when I'll have a new chapter done. It all depends on the muses, really, and they appear at odd times. I actually wrote a good third of this last chapter at work. I don't particularly like doing that, but we had a couple of slow nights. =P It doesn't help that both FNFE and 'High Price' are demanding to be written, and I can only do one at a time. It's too hard going back and forth between third person pov and first person. =P

I completely understand about the 1st person/3rd person POV. I normally write 1st person but Cadre wanted to be 3rd person. I worked on Saiyuki last night because Cadre was being a difficult child and found myself constantly backchecking and correcting. probably doesn't help any that Cadre is all I have written for the past month and a half.

You know I was teasing you right? Yes, I'd love it if you posted a new chapter right now, but as someone with 6 WIP's, I completely understand about getting stuff done by means of whatever fic screams the most/loudest. When it's done, it'll be done.

Isn't that a bitch? I hate it when I end up writing a paragraph and glance over it to discover that I was in the wrong POV. I usually try rereading some of my stuff to get into the mood for the right POV, but that doesn't always work out. =P

*laugh* Of course I knew you were kidding! Trust me, Miss D is far worse. She was asking for the next chap of 'High Price' when she knew I had just finished the first chapter. That's what I get for using her as a beta. ;) But ouch, 6 wips? I think that would drive me crazy. I'm currently thinking of the endings for the two of my current WIPs... yes, I'm purposefully ignoring the 'Life Series'. =P

Um...yeah. 6 WIP's. I'm insane you know. I also still write one-shots and giftfics on top of those too. I even work full time and have a family. I should point out I generally sleep 4-5 hours a night ( ... )

Heh, I think you're allowed to butt in. ;)

So, concerning 'Enduring Life'... The best way I can explain its neglect is that I don't have an ending for it. I know that isn't the best explanation, but many of my stories are based on where I want the characters to end up. That ending may change during the process, but at least there's a beginning path. With 'Enduring Life', I don't have any sort of direction. I may go back to it eventually, but at this point, it's a lost cause that should've been marked as the one-shot I originally planned.

Cool ^.- Now that I know, I'll stop bugging you - and I can imagine my own ending :D

HOWEVER. You DID mention above, in your own words, that you would have Ruth do art for your book cover, IF you wrote a book. So, there's now a basis to bugging you about that, and you should write something! You're incredibly talented, and I think it would be great for everyone involved!

That, and you wouldn't want to deny Ruth the pleasure of designing a 'real' book cover, would you? ^.-

Why do I have a bad feeling I shouldn't have mentioned anything? - maybe because you shouldn't have ^.- Although, I think it will be fun :)

*laugh* Damn, and now I've given you new ammo to use against me. We'll see if I can ever come up with a decent story idea, but I wouldn't have anyone hold their breath. As shown by the two stories I've posted, I'm horrible about finishing the original stories I start. =P Who knows what that mental block is all about...

Phft, please. You've written how many stories now? 33 stories, not including the side stories. They've all been wonderfully decent story ideas. However, I won't hold my breath. I'll just be poking you in the right direction ^.- Hm, wonder if I can recruit Miss Dincht?

*shrugs* Doesn't the thought of getting paid for a story entice you? So far, you've been far too nice to us. You deserve something for it! (I'm ignoring the fact that you'll have to work amazingly hard to get that 'something' ^.-)

I think it's because you're familiar with Seifer and Squall. You know, if you changed the names in Blind sight, you would have an original story right there. Except, of course, yuor 100 or so fans have already read it.
