a battle with weather!
Just after my body pains have eased somewhat, the temperature magically rose to 42 deg celcius (107.6 degfahrenheit) in my room and it felt like being in an oven. :| So we decided to head off to Palm Beach at around the afternoon till night.
Damn, the highway was almost empty and I could see heatwaves everywhere. We had to open the windows of the car, since they said that the car won't be able to take it if we turn on the air conditioner. ;_; The wind was just...so hot, it felt more like an oven than at home. shadowluceid/Lucy called me on the way and I greeted him happy new years, and talked a bit about the turkey that he ate xD I didn't get much what he said afterwards, since the wind was blowing on me too much, and then we got cut off :| Darnit!
When we stopped over at KFC to buy food, we saw Guy Sebastian (former Australian Idol; like Kelly Clarkson, but Aussie xD) washing his car at the carwash!! Like WOAH~ Then again, he does live around the Palm Beach area, so I guess it's not rare to see him. Haha, he looked shorter in real life than in TV! XO I texted Elaine, but her reply seemed to have disappeared :/ (when the reply came, my inbox was full so I had to delete a couple of msgs, but the message never came back T_T) I texted Kenny too, and then he tried to call, but the reception was pretty ECK.
When we got there, MAN there were TONS of people! as expected @_@ The actual water was cold and the waves were tough though! I couldn't possibly stay in there for long. So I drew in the sand. There was some bushfire in the nearby forest, so there was a mix of orange in the sky. It seemed cool.
Gah~ I've been feeling so meh/lazy lately! @_@ Must... get.. rid...!
