How to write correct bug report?
Usually, people who work in IT sector has to write down bug reports. Sometimes, even people who are not working in this sector are obliged to write them. Those, who know what I am talking about will remember how difficult it can be. Not even the writing but especially the reading of the reports and trying to understand what could be the real reason of the bug. If it is the bug.
The content of the bug report also can differ according to the project working with. For example, if you are testing some program, you will need to mention what kind of OS you have and etc. And, if you are testing some sites, you will have to take down with what browser you are testing it and etc. Nevertheless, there are some basic rules for writing bug reports.
First of all, you have to take down where (at what page/scene/place) the bug has appeared.
Secondly, you have to write down sequence of the steps which leaded to such result.
Thirdly, take down what was expecting to get after made steps.
Fourthly, what was the result in reality.
Besides, screenshots can also help very much.
