(no subject)
Two days left until I'm on my way back to Gainesville!
I'm at that part where part of me can't wait until Friday to be able to hit the road and get back to Gainesville -- and the other part of me just keeps thinking about all the stuff I still have to do. I'm wavering between feelings of extreme excitement and worrying -- but mostly I'm leaning towards the excited side, so I guess we're good!
I can't wait to get up there and get my apartment all set up -- it's going to be great once all my furniture starts coming in and such. I picked out a bunch of stuff and so hopefully we'll be getting it up there soon. So much still has to be done before Friday, though! I have to go and find some boxes for all of my stuff.
I can't wait to start my classes, too. It's been far too long and I can't wait to get going. 2007 is going to be a great year! I hope everyone else's year is looking up, too.
I think being in Gainesville will also really help me with writing. I know I've been feeling inspired lately, and I think the whole moving thing will be enough of the push that I need to get me actually writing and turning stuff out. I've been working with the last story I started in the back of my mind for forever now, so I'm definitely ready to start putting pen to paper (fingers to keyboard?) and get that rolling.
So here's to hoping!
Right now, I'm in one of those really-excited moods about the move. I can't wait to get up there, doing my own thing and finally being on my own. It's so great to have my own place. I was able to do pretty much whatever I want here at home, and I'm not wild and crazy so "do whatever I want, go to sleep whenever I want" and etc. isn't really the big deal about moving out. Just being away from home and everything (finally) is what's getting me excited and pumped and just .. everything.
Let the next phase begin! Woo!
