Originally uploaded by durandir. It's good to have a gardener in the family! Dad sent some of his strawberries home with me this weekend. He has had so many this year - when I was home visiting, we had containers of them all over the place. Same thing with the spinach. He had a huge bucket of it one day and had to freeze most of it as it was more than we could use for salads. We just reached the end of this year's asparagus, too. I love having so much fresh produce this time of year.
