A real update ZOMG
Since school ended, working 30+ hours a weeks hasn't been that bad. Still tired a lot due to the way the union set up to allow shifts to be scheduled. (You must have an 8 hour rest period between shifts.) So I can be scheduled for 3:30 to 10:30 and then have to be in at 8 am the next morning. Not that this happens very often mind you.
I have noticed since working at Safeway, I eat better. Since it is a grocery store, I can just buy lunch in the store. Typically my lunch will be something like an apple from produce, a little container of cubed cheese from the deli, maybe a bowl of soup or a sandwich or a croissant and a treat be it a cookie or a danish from the bakery. I usually bring a water bottle of iced tea to drink. Compared to foodcourt food when I worked at Hallmark where the best thing I might eat was sushi.
It's nice having money. With Anime North coming up and whatnot. I have parts of my costume done, the small prop like parts. I made the necklace, the crown needs a trip to the craft store at Preston crossing for craft foam. I am hunting shoes, likely I will just buy a white pair and spray them red. Next week I am going out to buy the fabric and start putting together the dress part. Then I just need a pair of dance shorts for underneath and some nylons. Haven't decided if I will make the scroll, maybe if I have time.
Got my hair cut, took some pictures of when it looked all nice a curly. Need to pull them off the camera still.
