Montage
I remember back in 2008 I was commuting home on the train when I envisioned travel montage on a New Zealand or Australian adventure set to the song I was hearing on my iPod. As my train speed through the various cities en route to San Francisco, I pretended I was watching a foreign landscape zoom by. The daydream awakened the wanderlust in me and reminded me that maybe that adventure should be soon. A few months later, after stumbling upon cheap airfare, the wheels were in motion to make it happen.
After over a year of putting it off after I returned from the trip, I finally got around to putting together the montage as I had envisioned it. I am taken back each time I play it to see that I really did go on that adventure, and it was just as amazing and exciting as it looked.
