It's slow building and totally hot and I so cannot wait for more. I love that you gave him depth and she can see he's more than just a bad guy, there's shades of gray. As always, you made me like Skye, you and I both can't stand her so KUDOS!

Christmas just came early. *flails* You are spoiling us with these little gems. :D

You found a perfect balance between their UST and the angst surrounding their circumstances. Her subconscious playing havoc, his not-so-casual concern, her goading/challenging him (with Josh nonetheless!) and of course the sensual secene in the water. Just so darn hot. <3

But what made me fall even more in love with them is the last part. It shows that there is really more to them both, their past, their characters. And that Carter isn't 'evil', just trying to survive and maybe Skye is his salvation, or at least his light in the darkness. ♥

Oh, Stef, you are brilliant! I'm torn between being impatient for the next installment and dreading the end of this series. :)
