This Summer, both meanings

So far this summer has gone fairly well. I had a nice long vacation, and now I have a class, a job and great friends. After this weekend's adventure at the lake, I cannot help but be excited about how the rest of the summer will go. Hi Isaac-
You probably didn't even know that I read your LJ, so I apologize for this coming pretty much out of nowhere. I just thought I would say kudos to you for the job, first of all, and, more importantly, for banishing said deep, dark secret. It really wasn't fair to you to have to keep that to/deal with that by yourself, and I hope that, whatever small regrets you might feel for having divulged it, you will feel much better for having done so. On the Summer note, and as a gf myself, I have a couple of comments (as with everything I say, take them for what you will or leave them completely; I don't claim to be any kind of expert on anything): (1) There is no excuse for breaking up in an e-mail if interaction is at all possible. It was really cowardly on her part to do so. (2) I could see where being bi could change how she felt romantically, but it was even more cowardly of her to not cite that as the reason, if it really was, or tell you what the other reasons were. And if she really cared about you, she would be open with you on all counts. (3) After thinking for awhile, putting myself in her place, even after knowing that you were bi, as long as the relationship stayed monogamous, I wouldn't have an issue with it in any case. Hope that makes you feel a little bit better, and hang in there - you'll find someone who deserves you :) (and your new amazing salary ;P (j/k)).
Take care,
Catie
