The Producer Who Designs Flops

Feb 01, 2007 01:20

This time, I'll start at the beginning, run right through the middle, and run head first into the conclusion.

Sometime this past weekend, I was at home collected some things I had forgotten from home. How I survived for all this time without whatever it was, I have no idea. Either way, my mother was home at the time, and she mentioned that she had two tickes to "The Producers" today, well yesterday technically. Being a theare nerd, I of course accepted them, thinking, I can surely find someone to go with me. I reconsidered and amended that statement to "I can surely find someone to go with me if I shower beforehand." I kid.

Later that day, as I was driving home actually, the thought occured to me that "John Tubergen enjoys musicals" and "The Producers is a musical." Using my amazing boolean logic skills (thank you 369), I deduced that John Tubergen would probably enjoy this particular show. Being my usual ditzy self, I totally forgot about this and did not actually call him until Monday.

He was happy to come with me, and we had quite a good time. The show was hilarious, as you can expect from anything based on "The Producers" and the two of us ended up going for coffee at Vienna afterward. There, we discussed various engineering heory and interesting facts until almost one in the morning, at which point the coffee wore off. This event brings us to now, as I sit in my cold room, typing on my computer.

On a related note, my room is cold as hell. Currently, I have absolutely no worries with heat from my computer. I wonder why? Let me put it more bluntly. I do not refridgerate soda. I keep the twelve-pack next to me. My room is cold enough that even soda sitting out is cool and refreshing when consumed. However, if my room is this poorly insulated, I dread the upcoming warm months, wherein internal temperatures may become so unbearably hot as to MELT MY VERY SOUL, well at least what there is left of it.
