My reply to that radio host who said God didn't protect those kids because we took prayer out of schools, or something like that...
Too many “good Christians” pull out that 2 Chronicles 7:14 verse about humbling and praying and He “will heal their land.” Use logic! Do you really think that applies to us in America today? Do you believe that “Last Days” and the “Rapture” and “Armageddon” are all real? I’ll bet you do, since you are so knowledgeable about the Bible. If Revelation is real, then the time for “healing our land” is O-V-E-R. The New Testament is very clear that in the last days, wickedness will overtake the whole planet…no matter how faithful a few million Christians are. God didn’t “remove his protection” from those children. Who says he was protecting them in the first place? Bad things happen because we live in a fallen world. Good will not conquer evil in Connecticut or Syria or Israel until the fulfillment of the Last Days and the Second Coming. The best we can do as Christians is to love God and love our neighbors….this sums it all up. (Mark 12:29-31)
