A litt recognition goes a long way....
Call me crazy, but I've come to really enjoy store meetings. Problems get addressed, goals are discussed, and good actions are recognized. After a month of constantly feeling inadequate, the end of today's meeting brought me FOUR personal recognition cards from my partners along with an on-the-spot shoutout... "Janell is a great partner and she is way too hard on herself. She's done a great job and (we) enjoy working with her." I almost cried.
Today, or next time you work, I want you guys to recognize someone that you think has been doing a great job. You might provide them with a ray of confidence that they have so desperately needed.
