I give up time with Jovi and Tim and go to work so I can keep my job.
    You gave up your job to be with K.

I give up time with Jovi to mow the yard.
    You gave up your yard, your house, your dogs, and your life to be with K.

I clip coupons and save pennies to make ends meet.
    You send K. flowers, go to concerts and have dinner/drinks with friends.

I can't afford to move out because I'm on my own.
    You have someone to help you pay for every single thing you have.

I am struggling and barely staying afloat most days.
    You remind me that I'm failing and that you're better than me.

Thank you for giving me Jovi, for teaching me to be strong, for giving me the opportunity to find the man I want Jovi wishing she'll marry one day.  Thank you for making my world fall down around me so that I could stand back up on my own two feet and say "nice try, buddy".

I may not be rich, I may not have a big beautiful house, and I may not be able to "live like no one else", but I'm living and I'm surviving and I'm making it without you.
