It's the shoes
I can't believe I did this. This is the most money I ever spent on a pair of basketball shoes, but they're were customizable from nike dot com. I was caught up in the NCAA basketball tournament fever when the team from my alma mater, UCLA Bruins, made it to the Final Four. I went to the Internet and designed by own pair of basketball shoes to show my support for my team. I tried to incorporate UCLA's colors into the shoes but also make them fashionable to wear. The crazy part is I chose patent leather, so they are shiny as a tuxedo shoes. I also incorporated the area code of my birth, 415, for San Francisco. I'm gonna use them to play b-ball at Thanh's dirty thirty birthday at GDS. I needed new basketball shoes because the last pair I had were from 1997 and one size too small.
