Spoilers, I guess. I'm wondering, if:
Linderman = Ozymandias, but less hot (determined to blow up New York in order to unite humanity)
Adam Monroe = Ra's Al Ghul, but more hot (400 year old dude who wants to save the planet by killing everyone with disease)
Jack Bristow = What Noah Bennet wants to be when he grows up.
Sylar = ???
This is something that actually didn't bother me so much in the first season, when it wasn't as prevalent though the signs were all there...but how is something going to pose an actual threat to him? He's far and away the most powerful character on the show, being that he has everyone's powers, especially now that Sylar has to eat the brains the old fashioned way. Aside from Power Dampener Guy, who really doesn't need to be more of a cryptic plot device, he's got no weaknesses.
Which means, basically, that in order to to retain dramatic tension, he needs to be easily manipulated, completely inept, or have amnesia for a few episodes. The good folks at Heroes decided to go for ALL OF THE ABOVE, with Peter recently being manipulated to all heck and being threatened by an old lady with a shot-gun. Next week: nerdy Japanese guy with maybe one montage's worth of katana-training vs. the invulerable, telekenetic, phasing, flying, mind-reading, electrokinetic, occasionally exploding emo-boy wonder.
I've had that rant saved on the update page for I don't know how long, so I'm just posting it to get it out of my system.
