ten headcanon facts:
1) His right eye drives. Me. CRAZY. And if he's not hiding Sharingan or some shit, my first guess is to say that his eye is what was injured when he was seven.
2) Bookman took him under his wing because he noticed Lavi has a true eidetic memory. It just takes him longer to see/memorize things if his eye is indeed injured. (These first two are what I'd like to go by, but I can't really implement this when writing Lavi in case his eye turns out to be special after all.)
3) He grew up in France, though he's a mutt, and his mother was, too. Also poor.
4) CROSS IS HIS FATHER. Naturally, neither know, and probably never will.
5) He has faint freckles, particularly across the back of his shoulders.
6) He lost his virginity when he was 13/14; it wasn't a big deal.
7) He's in love with Lenalee. (Does this count as headcanon? Eh.)
8) While the databook lists yakiniku as his favorite food (which I think he learned from Bookman, as there's really no other way he'd know of Japanese food but lol Japanese author), I think growing up it was actually coq au vin.
9) He gained a love of earrings from visiting India. He loves all kinds of Eastern culture, and it's still fairly exotic to him.
10) While he's a lover all kinds of women, he has a particularly weak spot for Asian girls because they're so demure and humble compared to European ones, which is probably part of why he likes Lenalee so much, as she's Asian but is more outspoken like a European girl.
why I like him:
He's hot and crazily complex, basically. |D One of the very first characters I got into was Duo Maxwell of Gundam Wing fame, and in a way Lavi reminds me of Duo with how much he hides behind a smile. But I think Lavi has more depth and is more troubled, despite being older than Duo who for the most part grows out of his dark past.
who I ship him with:
No one, actually, even if I take it as headcanon that he's in love with Lenalee, and that with enough development he could care for Allen in the same way. Mostly because while I have a ship within them main four (KandaxLenalee), I don't think any of the four can really end up together. I believe I've explained this before. XD I don't think there's a character in canon currently that would fit into the kind of relationship I could see Lavi in, which would be bittersweet and sort of detached.
