ten headcanon facts:
1) He was the last fraccion to be added to Baraggan's men, but also probably the most loyal besides Poww. Findor envies and hates him for this. (Headcanon for now, since we only got Numeros numbers for I think three of Baraggan's fraccion.)
2) Tigre Estoque el Sable really IS Ggio's true form - sort of. It more closely resembles what he was as an Adjuchas, which was a huge hulking Smilodon-like creature.
3) His Resurreccion is actually messed up, because in subduing him Baraggan injured Ggio right before he was brought to Aizen to become an arrancar. You could say he was a half-failed experiment.
4) Yes, he was Chinese when he was human. He was a casualty of WW2 and was bound to the battlefield he died on (probably a volunteer soldier against his will or something, I still have facts to look up).
5) His Hollow took on the form it did because he died angry, scared and powerless. He never wanted to be threatened again, nor do anything for anyone else's sake but his own, because he spent his life being obedient and loyal.
6) However, when he became an arrancar and regained a small part of his human self, it's his loyalty that binds him to Baraggan and Aizen, specifically, filial loyalty.
7) By default, Ggio can't read; stuff like that doesn't matter in Hueco Mundo. What he knows of the living world is second-hand, as Baraggan kept his subjects ignorant and on a tight leash.
8) He keeps his hair in a braid so it doesn't get in the way; it used to be more even and longer, and became cut and burned off from various close calls during fights or while hunting.
9) His ears twitch when something catches his attention, out of reflex for when he was an Adjuchas and had actual kitty ears.
10) He's pretty self-conscious about his size, which is why he makes a show of being arrogant - if he showed his insecurities, it would mean death, and when you're on of Baraggan's men you're better than to show such weakness.

why I like him:
Iiii could go on and on but to try and put it simply, I like Ggio because appearance-wise, his design was fairly unique as we have few younger-looking characters in Bleach. Even if there wasn't much going on in terms of story at that point, the fraccion were still pretty colorful characters themselves, and even though his appearance was brief Ggio still stood out as interesting (to me). He had to have been if he got himself his own chapter cover illustration, and the only other arrancar to receive that were Espada and just two other fraccion (Shawlong and Charlotte; not even Tesla, probably the most major fraccion, got one).

who I ship him with:
I pretty strictly ship him with Grimmjow. Working the wonders of fanwork and RP is the only way I could see Ggio with Ichigo, though it would take a pretty specific situation for them to last, and it's the only way I could see him with Soifon (the younger Soifon, though, from the Pendulum flashback). Panfandom-wise, I love him with Taiga (Toradora!), and in RP he's been really interesting with/opposite Walter Dornez (Hellsing: The Dawn), Vergil (Devil May Cry), Greebo (Discworld), Sumeragi Kururu (Air Gear), Kayura (Yoroiden Samurai Troopers), Talia (from a canon I don't know of, orz) and Kairi (Kingdom Hearts). For platonic ships, in canon I like him with Wonderweiss, Charlotte, maybe Avirama and for some inexplicable reason, Nemu. Panfandom, Integral Hellsing.
