I seem to need to accept the fact that once I get down to transitions in a chapter, it's going to pack 5k extra words into it. It happens all the time. Just a little bit ago I was looking at word count for this one thinking, 25k, that's not too bad! and now the chapter is looking back at me going haw haw, I'm gonna be 30k and you can't do anything about it because sections need to actually connect together and you can't put a scene break everywhere!
I swear I'll quit complaining about this chapter at some point. When I don't have to look at it anymore.
