Second Annual Steampunk in the Park, Atlanta, GA
Now that it's March, I thought I'd post a quick reminder that the Second Annual Steampunk in the Park in Atlanta, Georgia is fast approaching at the end of this month. Steampunk in the Park is a free, potluck, steampunk picnic held in Atlanta's own Piedmont Park. We had a great turnout last year and are hoping for just as big a group this time around.
We'll be meeting at the brick bandstand across from the lake on Sunday, March 27th at 2:00 PM and remaining until 6:00 PM. Those attending are encouraged to bring along something picnic-related (food, drink, plates, cups, napkins, etc.) for everyone to share, but please don't feel that you won't be welcomed if you aren't able to do so.
Parking is available in the Piedmont parking deck for a small fee and for free on the streets surrounding the park, though it's catch as catch can. Pets are allowed in the park, though they must obey Atlanta leash laws.
