I'm finally out of college for the next two months. It feels good to be back at home to do what I want.

There was one thing that bothered me as I was about to leave. For my Composition class, I had to turn in a comprehensive portfolio for a final exam grade. Problem was, I forgot to turn it in until the day after the deadline. Needless to say, I panicked and emailed my teacher. Fortunately, she told me that because I did so well the entire quarter she would not ding points off for it. It was a huge load off my chest. I now realize why I am always so prompt with my assignments; so shit like that doesn't happen.

Anyway, one of the first things I did after I unpacked was download some new songs on my MP3 player. One is the song listed at the top of this post(thanks to cloudmx for showing it in the VG Cats feed). The other is the theme song at the title screen of the first Terminator movie. Being such a huge fan of it (duh) I don't know why I didn't download it sooner. I just didn't think anybody made an MP3 of it I guess.

Another thing I did was rent Ace Combat 6:Fires of Liberation(Call of Duty 4 was rented out). Having loved AC 4, 5, and 0, I found everything in the game familiar (in a good way) with two main exceptions. The first is defiantly the graphics. On my HDTV, the planes actually do look photo-realistic. I remember magazine ads repeatedly trumpeting this fact, and let me tell you, it's not all hype. The second was the online mode. I haven't had to chance to dogfight against human opponents since Crimson Skies, and it's still just as fun.

As for now, I have Blacksite: Area 51 on my desk. I liked the demo, so here's to hoping the final product is at least tolerable.

Note: I did have links to both games and cloudmx's post, but I got the "author must manually fix contents" error. I don't feel like messing with it, so I'm just going to get rid of the hyperlinks.
