Saves The Day, who are currently in Electric Lady Bug Studio working on pre-production for their forthcoming full-length, have posted a studio update. The band is currently working with producer Steve Evetts (Snapcase, Lifetime, the Cure), who produced the band's first two full-lengths, 1998's Can't Slow Down and 1999's Through Being Cool, both released through Equal Vision.

Lead singer/guitarist Chris Conley mentions that the band is working on 18 new songs, with a tentative number of 14 making the album; "The songs are short and fast and angry and hopefully will make you want to tear your ears off your head." Working titles of several songs include "Head For The Hills," "Sound The Alarm," "Diseased," and "Eulogy." The band plans on posting continuous studio updates throughout the summer including video clips, journals, web chats, and more.
