Caterpillar
I had a really weird dream about a caterpillar last night...
It had this long soft purple fur that changed from purple to green depending on which direction its hair was facing (so when it walked it oscillated). The thing could also go from about four inches long resting to well over a foot when it stretched. It also had these four weird nodules (two on each side) near its back end, that when agitated heated up really really hot ( like a soldering iron ). For some reason this thing was in our basement, and I kept trying to find a box / make one for it to live in, because it was going to die (?) otherwise for some reason. Also at some point my cousins shaved it for no good reason. What's so weird about it is that the dream was so vivid, and the creature was absolutely stunning to look at (despite the fact that it doesn't exist in real life). I'm almost tempted to write at this point about the caterpillar I raised as a kid, but I've told that story enough times. I just felt like committing this to paper before I forget about it.
