Resolutions and Reflections
Another year is almost gone, and I can't wait to say goodbye.
This year was long and heart-breaking. It started off bad, but at least it is ending good. I can't believe its almost a year since my mom broke her leg. And she still can't walk like she should. It was January 1st when it happened. Strange. Now, we look back at the spot where she fell, and smile. We have learned so much from this experience and I think that is all there is to it. We have been through so much as a family, and although we have had repetitive battles, in the end, I don't think I could live without them. Especially my parents. I've grown dangerously attached to them, maybe by fear of losing one of them faster than expected. Hopefully this year will have a better beginning. Who knows what will happen, anything can happen....anything.
I hear many talking about their new year resolutions, and what they expect to do this coming year, and I can't come up with anything myself. Truth is, no matter what I think of or decide now, there is no way of making it happen. Simply cause I'm lazy and life just doesn't work out like that. Anyway, Happy New Years Fuckers!
