Is this a purple tie I see before me?
Well, more of a lilac shade actually. Or perhaps lavender.
I wish I weren't the only Bill O. fangirl on the planet, so somebody could tell me if he used to wear these ties before Countdown started gnawing away at his lead in the 25-54s. Because I sure don't remember seeing them this frequently until fairly recently. Well, "recently" as in the last couple of weeks out of the five months or so that I've been watching regularly.
Alas, Traffic No Factor Thursday will probably be cancelled this week due to my overtime shift on Friday, so you're getting your fix tonight. You're all ecstatic, I'm sure.
So I read Culture Warrior the other weekend, and was boggled by two revelations:
1. Bill O. supports civil unions and gay adoption. I'd read this in an article before, but never quite believed it until I heard it from the source.
2. 30 years ago, he was almost kind of decent-looking.
Perhaps I will use my evening of sobriety tomorrow night to finish the Bill/Keith Spankstravaganza that is taking me far longer to write than its level of quality would suggest.
