*squishes you*

Yes, it has been. To answer your earlier question, which I never got around to doing, I am in excellent health and feeling wonderful. Thanks for asking.

How are you doing?

That's great news! =)

I'm fine, too - all those work issues have melted away, thankfully - and things are as good as they can be. =)

Incidentally: you're up early! Yes, 6 AM is early. :P Is this your normal leaving-for-work timing, or what?

I'm glad the work thing is better. We all need our jobs right now.

I'm doing my bus duty - the time before school begins. I've got all the kids that get dropped off early. It's sort of like being a prison guard but the pay isn't as good. ;P

I hate getting up that early. Fortunately, you only have 13 days a year of that.

Getting up that early - to take care of hyperactive kids? Eeep. I feel for you. :/

But only 13 days a year? What is that about?

Everyone takes a turn at bus duty so it comes out to 13 days a year.

It's not so bad. Just lots of shoe tying but you get a few hugs, too. :)

How's Lucky?

Ah.

I think you mean Scotty, lol. He's fine! All energetic and playful and generally making a nusiance of himself, as always. :P

How's your little Gimli? ;)

:D Yes, Scotty. I always think of him as Lucky since you saved him.

Gimli is fat and lazy and grunty; and, as you can see from the pics, he spends a lot of time guarding the fish pond, drinking from the fish pond, and falling into the fish pond. He likes to catch the food that floats on top when I feed them. :)

We're on spring break this week so I've been walking him more and yesterday we both dug in the flower bed. He made two holes big enough to trap a tiger in so I guess I'll fill those in today. He also rescues all the weeds from the weeding tub where I toss them. I pitch one and he gets it out and carries it somewhere else. Obviously our definitions of gardening aren't the same but at least he's self-amusing. :)

Heh. =) Gimli sounds adorable! He barks, he guards, he swims, he gardens - is there anything he can't do? XD

And gosh, speaking of gardening - Scotty digs huge holes in the garden, too - whenever he feels neglected and/or thinks I haven't played enough with him. He may amuse himself, but funnily enough, our gardener never finds it cute. ;)

He can't stop eating and begging for food. :)

Our gardener - oh wait - I'm our gardener! I never find it cute either but it keeps him busy while I plant things. Getting it in the dirt is half the battle.

He is cute though - you can't stay mad at the scamp.

Hee. =)

Yes, you're right about that. It is difficult to keep up with your scolding when they turn those liquid eyes of cute on you. :P

Are you on Twitter?

No, sadly. I find that being on two social networking sites at a time is hard enough for me. :P Why?

Cause I have a Twitter account. I find it easier to post a short sentence than a long post these days.

Ah. Sorry, though, I don't have one, and I doubt I'll be getting one anytime soon. :/
