OK, so I didn't see this coming!
The BBC Weather site was redesigned recently, so it's possible that my sorry little eyeballs simply didn't notice the symbol for 'snow', which isn't much differnt from the one for rain. Anyway, I had no idea until I opened my curtains upon getting out of bed this morning.
Also, can you tell that, even 11 years after moving to England from Southern California, I still haven't lost the near-Pavlovian 'O SQUEE!! SNOW!!!!' response?
