Farewell to a friend
On Thursday night, Christal Ann Luevano (kikiaustex and christalann) lost her battle with cancer. The following Sunday morning her father lost his fight as well.
If not for Kiki, I never would have discovered LJ or met my wonderful friend benson3. Regardless of the miles that were between us since my move, we managed to mend our fences and stay in touch. I had coffee with her on my last visit to Austin and at the time I had a premonition that this would be our last meeting but I ignored it, telling myself I'd be back the next year and see her again. Well, I will be back to see her this weekend and say goodbye to her beautiful spirit.
Services will be this coming Sunday, April 29th (her birthday) from 3-5pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home on South Congress @ Cumberland (2620 South Congress Ave.)
