I'm exstatic right now. I just paid off almost ALL of our back bills in one week. There was a bunch of doctor/hosp/collection bills that have accumilated throughout the last year. I didnt even need to touch our wedding money stash. It was all from our checks! So it is so nice that its all done with and we can start with a clean slate. Which also means that I can be alittle less wary when we go to rent our first house...which is happening very soon. I'm scared b/c Ive only lived in an apartment by myself and I know nothing about gas prices and water bills and trash bills...ect. I dont want to get linked into something and have to break a lease b/c we cant afford it, or better yet what if Steve looses his job? He's a delivery driver for DHL and if he gets into ANY accidents or gets any points on his record then he's fired. I dont like that b/c accidents happen and though he is very cautious, they make him work like crazy. He's running non stop all day just to make the delivery times. Its rediculous. So I worry like eveyday. My luck is we will sign the lease and the next day someone will hit him. Is anyone else scared of these things? Probably not, you all seem like you got your shit together. Well, I'm trying I tell you, and no matter what I do, I'm gonna make this house thing work. I'm even "trying" to quit smoking cigs b/c that would be alot more money a month for us, especially if we both quit. Damn habits!
