i have decided to name my car, which i should have by the end of the weekend, the stay-puft marshmallow man. this would work better if it were an suv, but i don't care. it's white and white cars remind my friend of marshmallows, and thus it is stay-puft. and when it's being annoying and it bothers me, i can tease it by calling it the pillsbury dough boy.
yes, i'm silly. but i need silliness to get by since the other guy screwed us over and now i won't have the pretty blue car.
and it's my last day of work today! and jenn baked me pie for my last day of work!
oh, and on a completely unrelated note, i reread the ending of order of the phoenix yesterday. sirius better not be actually dead, because if so, "death by curtain" is perhaps the lamest death i have ever heard of. seriously, did anyone get a stick and poke around in there? shine a flashlight and see what's going on? it coulda been like a 2 centimeter drop and no one would know. the section is written very vaguely, it's like half a sentence. jkr has been, overall, a predictable writer with her foreshadowing and everything. i would be pleasantly surprised if 1) sirius is actually dead (though also indignant at the lame death) and 2) snape is actually evil, because those two being not really dead and not really evil are just too obvious right now.
still, death by curtain! better watch out when you open your windows or that curtain just might get you.
