News: Xavier is crawling and pulling himself up now. Walking is just moments away! He is really moving now; he crawled across the kitchen in an attempt to grab the cat! It was so exciting.

A story from a few weeks ago…. It was storming really bad and I asked Joe to put up the portable crib. I wanted Xavier to sleep in our room. He stated that storms did not bother Xavier and he would sleep right through it. I explained it was not for Xavier, it was for me. (My fear was that something would happen to Xavier, on that side of the house and we would survive and something may happen to Xavier) Joe set up the bed with not much of an explanation…. I then asked him to put a sheet on the bed and that was the final straw, he calmly asked me to do it and took Xavier from my arms so I could put the sheet on the bed. Xavier slept all night, and Joe and I woke occasionally to his tossing and turning and noises he makes sleeping. I slept much more comfortably knowing Xavier was in our room.

Well we seem to loose our baby a lot… Wednesday night Xavier was a little cranky so we sat him down to watch his favorite movie (Baby Einstein video). He quickly fell asleep and I turned the volume down because there is a loud part in the film that wakes Xavier. I was hoping Joe would put him to bed because I have a hard time putting him to bed without waking him. I start cleaning the house and getting ready for bed, I notice the TV is off. So I figure Joe put Xavier to bed. I turn on the monitor walk around the house, go outside, and talk to our new neighbors holding the baby monitor the whole time. I continue getting ready for bed and notice Xavier trying to roll over in his seat (he is strapped in) and he is grunting because he can not accomplish this. Realizing Joe did not put him to bed, I take him to the bedroom and he quickly wakes up. Joe runs in (after hearing him on the monitor) and asks did Xavier wake up? I state that he was not in the bedroom he was still in the living room. We establish we both thought the other one put him in the room; we make him a bottle and then put him in his crib to bed. I must state that we are both at fault, me for turning down the music and Joe for turning off the TV, we both assumed the other put him to bed.

I took my fitness test on Thursday and I am happy to say that I passed with flying colors. I will not have to perform this stupid test for another year. Yeah me!

I have started performing work at my new job and I am enjoying it. I have someone who sits next to me teaching me what I am suppose to be doing. It is nice that he takes the time to explain things. I only hope I do not look like to much of a fool!
