Getting here
So yesterday for the most part was pretty horrible. I was supposed to get here at around 1pm - but ended up getting here at 8pm. My original flight was supposed to go Memphis - Atlanta - New York. The flight to Atlanta was cancelled, so they changed it to Memphis - Cinncinati - Philadelphia - New York.
I made it to Philadelphia only to find that all flights to New York were cancelled for the night. I spent an hour waiting on my luggage to find out it didn't make it there .. then took a train to Penn Station in NY, where Charlie and Carolina (thank god!) met up with me to help me navigate the subway. We were a little late to see the Lion King, came in at the "Just Can't Wait to be King" song. Meredith didn't make it to that :( Me and Lauren barely made it. The three of us don't have luggage yet. I was told I had to go in person to the JFK airport to file a claim .. so that is our afternoon plan.
This morning, we are going to the Museum of Natural History where they filmed "Night at the Museum"
