OK it's only been a few days! I remember back when I posted to my LJ every day. That was back in the olden times when I had free time and energy. Right now I'm stealing some - a slow-ish work morning, and the morning circadian upswing. It won't last. There's work to be done and I ought to do it.

Anyway... It's definitive: Pushing Daisies has not

Rice milk doesn't have the right texture - it's too "skim". I put something in my coffee so that the bigger fats will enclose the coffee's oils and make it taste smoother and rounder - rice milk is fail in that area. (I love to just drink straight rice milk, though. Yummmmmmers.)

Pushing Daisies is antidepressant in television form. Now I guess it's nothing but back to the "schizophrenia in television form" (Heroes) and "heartrending despair in television form" (Battlestar Galactica - which my GOD am I looking forward to seeing again). With no PD, that leaves me exactly 2 hours of TV per week that I watch - the Eros and Supernatural, on those rare occasions when I am actually home on a Thursday night. It's grim, so grim. Why do I even have cable?

I tried to watch HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL and I couldn't do it. I think I'd need heavy-duty drugs, or else about seven cocktails - or codeine - really, anything that prevents me from just turning it off. There's nothing about it that should be a dealbreaker - I love hot teenagers (that Zac Efron, while a tool, is some kinda babe!) and I love musicals and I love camp, but... yeah, I should have tried watching it from the beginning. Someday I'm sure I'll be subjected and then I'll write slash fic about it. :)
