I had my head personally crushed by Mark McKinney

By the way, because I've been too depressed and overwhelmed to mention it since Sunday night, the Kids in the Hall "Live as We'll Ever Be" was the shit. It was superb and wonderful and cozy and extremely sick and wrong. I'm not going to review it on here, as I will actually write a review for Popshifter (I'll provide a link once it's there) but I will say that if you ever watched the TV show and wished they could cuss and be unbelievably filthy and blasphemous and twisted, this was everything you could hope for, and more.

If you have the chance to see this show, do it - and beg them and pray that they keep doing it. I have the feeling that they won't, but they are obviously so in love with performing together, riffing and teasing and dropping their cues and ad-libbing wildly, that maybe they'll actually do this some more. I sure hope so. I am once again ferociously and hopelessly in love with all of them... I can't even say "especially Bruce" or "especially Foley" or "especially Kevin" because... seriously... I'm in love with all of them. They are definitely aging, but it looks good... it looks right, somehow. They're people. And they sure love the word "fuck".

Funny as hell. And I didn't piss myself, which is kind of amazing. I guess I had my fluid balance right or something.

blee, awesome, show report
