• My aunt Beverly died last week. Funeral tomorrow in Denver. I'm not going. She was a great woman, but it's been decades since we had more than the most glancing contact. Talked to my dad for the first time in about a year and a half. He didn't sound that upset, even though Bev was his sister. Maybe Jesus is his insulation.
• I want photographs of me with my hair like this before it's too late and it starts looking crappy.
