As I had anticipated, Bryan Fuller's new quirky black comedy Pushing Daisies is absolutely brilliant, gorgeous, and loveable - even though my cable went out (and only on channels 2, 5 and 8... why?!) and I had to watch it on broadcast, physically holding the antenna on my crappy little TV in the bedroom.
I can't possibly recommend this show highly enough. And I can't describe it well enough to do it justice - so let
Kristin from E!Online and
Tim Goodman of the San Francisco Chronicle do it for me. If Heroes is the impossibly hunky, hopelessly socially awkward nerd who knows everything about comic books, Pushing Daisies is the cool, suave, ridiculously intelligent head of the literary society who is probably gay, but who hugs and kisses you all the time and tells you you're beautiful, and is probably going to die soon.
